How we correct a guide
With heated gear, a wrong fact can matter for safety.
What counts
- A spec, runtime or size that doesn't match the maker
- A recall or CPSC warning we missed
- A quote that isn't what the owner wrote
- A dead or wrong store link
What we do
- Check it against the source on file
- Fix the page, with a note at its foot
- Move or remove a pick if the fix changes its place
- Take down a quote when its writer asks
What we won't change
- A ranking, because a brand asks
- A con that many owners report
- The order, in return for payment
